Hall Speed Sensor????

Hall Speed Sensor????
I've been trolling and searching for a while trying to diagnose my infamous 4x4 high light blinking six times. I see a lot of people saying to change the hall speed sensors on the transfer case.
So I go to my dealer and they look at me like I'm smoking crack. The only thing they could find were two sensors 1L2Z-7F293 AB & BA. Are these what I need? I thought another member said they were around $30 but one is $90 and one is $80. I cannot return them so I want to be sure they are the right thing.
Also, can you test them to see if they are bad? I saw a test procedure for a 90s model Ranger but nothing for my Explorer.

Sorry for the lack of info. It is a 2002. I am assuming the 2 speed 4WD. I have the buttons for Auto, High, and Low.
