My rear tank works perfect always starts right up but if I switch to my front tank the truck won't start and if I have it running then switch tank it stalls out. When I turn the ignition on I hear the pump turn on. Any idea's?
Check the fuel pressure on the two tanks. There is a shrader valve on the fuel rail that you need to connect a fuel pressure gauge to.

What year is your truck i have an 89 F150 300 I6 that did the same thing. Your could hear the pump run but it would die. Turned out to be the tank selector VALVE. Not the selector switch. It was about 60$ from the dealer. Its mounted in the frame with 4 lines going to it. And 2 from it. What you can do to check is disconnect the gas line feeding the selector valve and have someone turn the Key to KOEO position, if gas pumps out then your valve is stuck on the rear tank.
