Bolt thread identity help.

Gents, I have asked your help in the past regarding bolt sizes, and you've come up trumps before. I am looking for the thread size for the bolts that screw into the radiator support panel. It's a fine thread, an I'm trying to order some locally here in the UK so I can crack on during the week.
Your help is appreciated.

I assume you mean the bolts that hold the fender support and inner fender to the radiator saddle. on a 48 - 52? They are 3/8"-24 x 2.5"

Most body bolts on the 56 are 5/16" 24 NF thread with a flange head. I'm not where I can measure any, but 1" to 1-1/2" lengths will work.

Ladies and gents, boys and girls, fankoo very much for your help. AX gets a virtual pint. They are indeed 5/16 UNF (24 tpi).
I now have some shiny stainless bolts to hold it together during the mockup while I sand and prep the wings!

Thankyou and goodnight!

That's the route I'm taking ( although not polished as it'll be my daily hack when it's finished). Everything that has an accessible captive nut has been cut off and converted to metric,as have all the wing bolts. I've just clearanced all the wing slots out to take M10 with nylocs, prior to powder coating.
Onwards!

Better than whitworths! The automatic self-unscrewing bolts.

Neither, it was tongue in cheek humour.
