installing rigid light bar

hey im wanting to install a rigid light bar on my truck. I got a few question about it. first off my truck has upfitter switches that came from factory. im wanting to hook up the light bar to one of the upfitter switches, but the rigid bar comes with its own switch, relay and wiring. what do I have to do to hook it up to the factory upfitters? do I have to cut there wiring to do it and splice into the upfitter wires. ive been doing some research on it and got directed to this site. https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas...tml/q117r1.pdf. on another site it was saying there are wires on the inside of the engine bay you can tie into. is there any installs on here with pics showing how you guys hav installed your rigid light bars. any help would be great.

See this thread for step by step instructions: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...g-experts.html

Cut the supplied switch, fuse, and harness off the light.

Find the upfitter wire set, pick one.

Attach whichever one to one of the pass through wires (near the parking brake)
