Will a 2007 F-450 6.0L diesel motor and transmission fit in a 2005 E-350? If so what modifications if any are necessary?
i'm pretty sure the E and F series diesel long blocks would be pretty close.
the short version is, everything is different that attaches to the engine.
brackets, intercooler, turbo plumbing..... everything.
brakes are different. hydroboost vs. vacuum
ECM is different. ficm location is different... wiring harness is different.
cann bus is different.
the shorter version is, why on earth would you want to even try?
my head hurts to even think what this would be like to attempt.
