2000 7.3 Differences?

I have a 2000 7.3 as does my dad. The difference I was wondering about was my dad's has the powerstroke plastic plate and it looks like the engine is farther down into the engine bay. It also has a little bit higher pitched sound than mine. His has 100k less than mine but I was wondering if they changed anything.

It's been reported that some early 2000 model year trucks did not have the oil to water transmission cooler in the radiator. That is the only change I am aware of. My wife's 2000 F-250 Lariat is identical to my 2000 F-450 Lariat except for the chassis and running gear. Engine, transmission, cab, etc are identical.
