Well I am very upset about my recent misfortune. My 1992 Bronco needs a total engine rebuild and being that I'm in school I cant afford it, so I have to sell it.
Basically the thrust bearing went out and the crank is moving all over the place. So I need a complete rebuild. The lowest price I could find was $2500 to fix it. The engine is 302.
The rest of the truck has no rust and it's an Eddie Bauer. It has a newly rebuilt trans with about 10000 miles on it and the truck was recently inspected. It has 110000 miles on it. Everything works it has an excellent interior and the exterior is about a "7" with a couple dents and dings.
The reason I am writing is to ask how much you guys think I could get for it? How much should I advertise it for?
Thanks in advance.

Instead of selling or completely rebuilding the engine, you might want to look into getting a used engine at a salvage yard. I know there isn't much of a guarantee going that route, but at least you'll still get some use out of it instead of getting screwed trying to sell it. If you know someone that could swap engines for you a good deal you could save some money?! Just an idea. Sounds like you don't really want to get rid of it.
You won't get very much for it without a the motor running, and you'll never forgive yourself for selling it. You can find junkyard engines lots of places; F/E-series get wrecked all the time. I'd go that route.
You can spend $12 on a Haynes manual, ~$100 on a socket set from Sears, & ~$800 on a short block with a 90-day (or maybe longer) warranty and some other various parts, and put it in yourself over a couple of weekends. If you can hook up with some reasonably experience wrenchhead friends, it can be done in 2 days.
Hey evanderson dont be bummed out man! As in the previous post get ahold of a friend or two and let them know what you want to do and start taking it apart! You wont regret it and you may learn some things along the way. It isnt as hard as it seems just label everything as you take it apart so you know where to put things!! ITs worth a try, good luck
You're guaranteed to learn some things. Even friends who aren't very good with cars will be useful; just make sure they're hard working and have a reasonable amount of common sense. My first (and most awful) engine swap was a 75 MGB, and I was doing it with two guys who had never turned wrenches before. We got it running though, and it didn't take that long. We learned a LOT.
if u dont have too dont sell it, park it else where and try to find a cheap vehicle to drive--usually the future brings $$$$$$$$ and time ,also u would take a loss on it (if sold now) good luck TR
