hood fitting problem - need help
1946 1/2 ton
I had a large gap at the back of the hood ( about 1/2 inch vertical). When I get the truck up to 45 mph the sheet metal really starts flopping around. I put on a new cowl lacing. I hope that is the right word. It is the rubber strip on the body where the back of the hood rest. I took the hood off to install this.
After alot of test fitting and trying different things I still have a fairly large gap at the rear of the hood. The hood is sitting clear down in contact with the fenders. I cannot raise the front of the hood any more because the limits of the front latch.
Any ideas ?
