Hi everyone. I just recently received a gift from my father-in-law for doing some web development for our business. He decided to downsize his fleet and give me a 1977 F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special. We call it Rusty or U-Haul, depending on what side we are standing on. (Thank you Ford for "medium copper.") It is a project truck to be sure, but it runs great and the frame is solid, its just.... ugly. So now a little about me. I have a wife and 3 boys ages 6 months, 18 months and 9 years. I work for a local shortline railroad as a switchman (I'm hoping to go to engineer school this fall.) I have been a tinkerer and electronics nut for as long as I can remember. I build lasers and other assorted gadgets in my shop, and am glad to finally have a blank canvas in Rusty. My love of building and tinkering combined with my love of this truck is going to lead to some pretty interesting things. Provided my wife doesn't put a bullet in both of us first. (She's the jealous type.)
