Hi Guys - didn't want to make a new thread for this. Truck came with an innovation diesel SCT 3015 programmer. The instructions say you have to unhook the battery after changing the tune to reset the on board computer. (it was vague and said 94-97 year vehicles) Any experience with these? Is this thing like the edge where it will fry my PCM when flashing it? I want to move it to stock and see if that fixes some shifting points, or just see the difference that programmer makes. If nothing else it will be useful to read codes when I get a 6 position chip in it. Seem's like it has a bunch of canned tunes for all makes and models depending on the vehicle. Not too sure if I like that.
