There is a big *** black widow living on my dent somewhere...webs always showing up and about a million dead spider skeletons tucked in all the nooks and crannies. I saw it once, it was curling its legs up under the sheetmetal hole for the tail lights, and it was a big one.
How do you get rid of spiders from the spots you cant get into to smash them?
brake parts cleaner and a lighter for when that little **** hides. you can fix wiring thats been burned, but you cant live with a black widow in your truck!
Cover your truck and set off a bug bomb. Then clean thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner.
And just for fun, here's a nice big spider for you. I found this guy in the hills above Fremont CA. He was just crossing the dirt trail when I spotted him.
Here's a recipe for areas that get no or very little summer rain:
1 cup lemon juice
1 cup of tobacco juice (soak about six Skoal bandits in hot water for about an hour)
1/2 cup of lemon scented dishwashing liquid
Mix thoroughly.
Pour into a hose-end sprayer like pictured below and spray your house, truck, the yard, fences, etc.
Let it dry.
Spiders taste with their feet and don't like the acid in lemons, the tobacco juice gives insects diarrhea, and the dishwashing liquid is a surfactant (to reduce surface tension). That way EVERYTHING gets coated so the concoction doesn't run off.
Agree with cover and bug bomb. Pressure wash and a size 14 boot? If all else fails, try blasting some Hank Sr from underneath....no six legged critter can stand that good ol' Nashville twang-twang....

Dude...your Ford and bug IQ are definitely off the charts! Very nice.
so to bring this back up again...will it hurt anything to put a truck in the garage, open the doors and hood...close garage and set of 3-4 bug bombs? The truck I am getting is COVERED in black widows....DONT LIKE CRITTERS!
As in "Hurting anything" I mean by the electrical?
Thanks
