That same storm has reached us in Illinois. Tornado warnings and heavy rain fall. Going to be a long night tonight.

Its been constant lightening and thunder for the last 2 hours. There are tornado warnings posted. Got 1 1/2" rain in 2 hours.

That's not good. Back in May 2911 we had a similar situation where there was a continuous band of thunder storms for 6-8 hours that cut diagonally thru central Vermont. We had worse flooding from that in thus area than we saw from tropical storm Irene. Hope all is safe for you Rick.

Prayers offered for all affected by the weather in TX, OK ,KS and elsewhere. The devastation is hard to believe much less see. I can't imagine the mental and physical toll it must be taking on everyone involved.

Our trailer park opened up last week & I saw a truck n trailer from VT there so I talked to the guy for a bit, he tells me his dentist is up here........ long ways to go I thought
