Good morn
Ive got my Cobra that I use to chat quite a bit and I like the look in my cockpit. Ray have you ever moseyed over the CB Radio Forum?
Anyway, have a great day gang.
Didn't know there was a CB forum . . .
Well, guess I'll have to find it and do some lurking. My brother gave me some equipment that he used when he was hauling dirt/gravel/asphalt. The Cobra 19 DX III had been tuned but the twin Firestiks didn't come with the co-phased cable. I know we used to build those cables back in the '70's but for the life of me, I can't remember. Also, the antennas have no way to tune them. The wire is bedded into the 'glass shaft at the top, so maybe a new antenna will be needed.
Interesting that only Chevy and Honda race in Indy anymore. That sucks that it was won under yellow. I hate yellow flag finishes. Oh well, nobody asked me. LOL
Happy Memorial Day to all (in the US) FTE'ers! enjoy your BBQ or whatever you have planned for the day, be safe, and remember the reason for the day.
Nah, don't think I will be getting a Mercedes anytime soon, as I have my eye on a black on black Jaguar X-Type for only $4,500. It is in Laguna Niguel, which is about 250 miles south of me. Found it on Autotrader. If it is still available when my settlement check gets here, I'll fly down and drive it back.
