I wish I could have gone to the Supernationals....but had to work some extra hours to pay some bills. No point in spending money I don't have.

Saturday is gonna be a wet one. Have a great weekend.

When the little ones - such as dogs cats and kids, come to you - it means that whatever you are doing -

They trust you

That's a hard thing to earn...

I never want to lose that

Woola is sleeping at my feet tonight - and I appreciate that a lot

Good night - and may the creator follow you

I'm not sure what wolfie is alluding to, either. Maybe that you are visiting the Tennessee forum and not near the Great Lakes...???

Anyway...it has been raining off and on....just enough to keep the grass too wet to mow.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

LOL I guess...but it would be like asking you why aren't you near the MISSISSIPPI river...... TN may touch the MISS River, but you aren't near it.

I have spent quite a bit of time in Central and Eastern TN.

We got real sunny today, high of 88*

Have a GREAT afternoon

I was just kinda curious - because your location tag says central Illinois, but yet you seem to know Chattanoogie inside and out, Brother

I was thinking maybe you were a big rig driver.

No worries, my sister lives right outside Chatty, and her and my brother in law work in Chatt. Plus I have tons of family in ALABAMA as well as I own some land there, so our family travels alot.

So you prolly get to visit Mac - I wonder how his peppers are doing.

I got some seeds for a new one that is supposed to blow all haberneros right outta the water, and I have some extra seeds

"Maruga Scorpions"

I guess they were a recent find

*No sprouts yet . I think a live plant if they seem to be hard to get up out of the ground is indicated

When a feller is retired, all days are good days. Rainy days, a slight bit less good.

Sorry I'm a bit late today, fellas....worked until 6 am this morning, so I slept until 1130 and then played around in the gardens for a bit. Peppers are looking pretty good, Wolf...got some blossoms on a few plants. I picked 3 cucumbers today, though....small "pickling" cukes, but they have a great taste in fresh salads.

We got 2 inches of rain this weekend....water barrels are full and herbs/plants are loving it. Going to have to harvest some more herbs by the end of the week. I think I'll dry most of these for teas, cooking later this year.
