Hey guys, I did a rear disc set up on my f150 and well my dad wants to do his ranger now.
His is a 02 ranger 4.0 its a 8.8 axle code comes back its a 31spline set up from what he has found.
Has anyone done this set up? he keeps finding the explorer stuff we got the axle shafts hang out 3/4" farther than the ranger shafts? From my search I find questions but no definite answers, He keeps asking well I know someone here has to of done it. Help guys I want to get this done so I can get back to my projects.

Most guys swap Expo axles. Or you could find a early to mid 90's Cobra and take those.

Wait, with a 31 spline you can't you do the Cobra swap

Your dad must have a FX4 to have the 31 spline axles.
