Fuel tank troubles..

This is a new problem that started a few weeks ago, filled both tanks and with out ever switching to the rear drove about 400 miles. I usually switch to the rear tank as soon as the front shows empty(guage shows either empty or full-at empty their is about 3 gallons of gas left.) Now when i switch, both tanks show, and are empty...Long story made short, I am always pulling fuel from both tanks now. Looking for any ideas as to why, and what the consequences may be??

Thanks for any help..

Fuel tank troubles..

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-Jul-02 AT 00:18 AM (EST)]Sounds like your fuel tank selector valve has gone bad. You got lucky it was about 0 degrees F when mine went out and it got stuck between the tanks and would not draw off of either one. It took me about a day and a half to figure it out, I have a dsl and thought my fuel had gelled up.
