How to replace rt blend door actuator?
Hi, I have a 08 f350 6.4 with auto/duel zone hvac. I'm hearing a clicking noise on the right side of dash near glove box. Also Pass side vents blow warmer than the setting. I've had the dash apart when installing my audio system so I'm not afraid of it. Just wondering if anyone has replaced one themselves and what the out come was. According to a tsb I saw it quotes 1.2 hrs so I think I can handle it. What I'm looking for is what you removed to get to the part, etc.

I had mine replaced about a year ago, it is not an easy job. I watched as they took out the dash to easily get to everything. The Tech said, we could do it without taking out the dash, but you have a greater chance of breaking plastic and scrapping up your arms and also it just give more room to do it just about as fast as not taking out the dash.

Only advice I could give is if you're tearing into it to do one, you might as well bite the bullet and do both. Had my right side done, and in less than a year the left side bought the farm. Back to square one.
