91 F250 Brake Problems
My Dad just got a great deal on a 50,000 original mile F250 7.3 diesel. Well the brake pedal is bleeding off and going to the floor, we bleed the brakes and the RABS unit, no luck. We took it to a local shop and they changed the master cylinder with a rebuilt one, no luck, so they put a new master cylinder in it and fully bleed the system. Now the pedal is even softer, and the front right brake is locking up causing the truck to shake terribly. I thought maybe the proportioning valve, but it does not tie into the front brakes, Chiltons manual says the valve is built into the side of the master cylinder, but is does not go to the front brakes. I checked all the threads, and one said the RABS valve could be leaking, and the other said rear wheel cylinders. I am home visiting, and want to get it fixed before I leave, any help would be greatly appreciatted.

I had a 89 f350 that had poor brake pedal feel and it turned out to be that the front brake lines(the rubber ones) were "stretching out" when the brakes were being applied causing diminished front braking ability and a soft pedal!
