Does anyone know if 2011 Stock wheels will fit a 2006?
I am looking at getting a back-up set of rims and tires. I current have 18" rims on my f-350. I have found a couple of take offs from newer trucks. Do all superduty stock wheels fit all superdutys?
Is there a load rating differnce between 18" and 20"?
I'd say the 2011 wheels would fit the 2006 .I know 99 to 2004 are the same 2005 and up 16 inch won't fit due to 2005 and up the brake calipers are bigger .AS far as I know the hole spacing is the same for all SuperDutys .
any 1999-2013 wheel will bolt up to any other 1999-2013 truck
but
the 1999-2004 trucks have smaller brakes. they can fit 16" rims. 2005+ trucks require a minimum of 17" rims
and
1999-2004 front axles are 4" narrower than 2005+ trucks. so the 2 different year groups have different backspacings.
but yes, you can easily take any 2005+ rim and it will bolt to your 2006 truck perfectly. the various rims all have approx the same load ratings as well.
