efi to carb
i have a 1989 f150 4x4. it has a 351w and a c6. i want to convert from efi to carb. i know i need a carb, intake, dizzy, fuel pump. what else will i need to get. is there any wiring issues, etc. i am tired of dealing with the stock efi system. another thing i pulled my motor apart and found 2 burnt pistons. what could cause this. thanks

Nobody is going to recommend swapping to a carb. You will spend a ton of money for no performance gain and less reliability. What problem are you having with the EFI that you can't find using an OBD1 scanner?

the obd port is dead, no power to it. the truck didnt run very well and im doing a complete rebuild on the motor. i am boring it .030 over, and im not sure if that will work with a stock efi. i do have a running donor truck with a complete efi system that i could use.
