Simple Thanks
I'm not trying to open a can of worms here, but I think it's only common decency to offer a simple thank you when some of our more experienced users respond to questions with advice, suggestions, related links or detailed instructions and drawings.
At times, a quick note is all that's required, and also let's the author know the message has been received and understood.
I, for one, really appreciate all the help you guys and gals have offered over the past 18 months. Thank you very much!

Right on!! Some people go out of their way to help other people here and deserve a note of thanks. I'v seen alot of gratitude exchanged here, and lots of helpful info and advice. Good people, good sight....Thanks FTE and thanks people of the world !!

I guess I'm just a fundamentalist at heart...
I just like to hear that whoever it was got their wheels up and running. -Sort of a voyeuristic "Satisfaction in a job well done" kind of a thing!

I have to agree with Greywolf, it's in my nature to try and help anyone at anycost, this has been my shortcoming for years, it the biggest reason I am up to my eyeballs in debt, a family members car breaks I wind up buying the parts 'cause they are too broke to buy 'em. So here I am gonna have to go around with the bank to get the title for my van switched to ohio......
