New Supercrew Exhaust
Where do I start. Well, my mom got a new car so my dad now has the '01 Screw Lariat 4x4 With 5.4 as his main driver. As much as we like our swapped in 40 series it needs a bit more growl. I was looking under there and really would like to take everything off after the stock y-pipe where the slip joint is right by the torsion bar rear hookups. Would then like to add a foot of 2 1/2 inch pipe with a y made at the end. Then would like to add 3 feet of twin 2 1/2 inch pipe with 45 degree bends and weld on some 4x22 inch tips and exit in front of the rear wheel. What do you think? Sound good or too loud?

It shouldn't be too loud. A girl at work had a 4.6 5-speed and she had straight pipes after the converters that exited out in front of the back wheels. It wasn't overly loud.
