In 1983 i bought a 62 f-100 unibody short bed, chop 4 inches, 302 4-speed, that came out of a mustang. painted a purple color,the shop thur some extra paint they had laying around. Gave 800.00 for the truck, really a good buy back then. Then in 90 i put the truck body on a 78 ford short bed 4x4 frame---so dumb then sold the truck.
