a 7.3 is a 7.3 they didnt really change a whole lot, just the axels and all things heavier duty is what changed. So yes a 7.3 cooler will drop in but its not exactly "minimal effort" you have to take off everything down to the coor support, cut the correct holes, build the mounts and order a piping kit(Jake from irrate or banks) both look fanomial or just make your own if your handy with piping and welding. its a fun project and i loved doing mine. (although it went under many changes since then)
