Been hiding in my madness on a 50 farmall cub so havent been dinking with my 64 much but have a quick question.
Any one ever put a 61-64 on a 80 thru 96 frame? Would this even be possible?
I do realise that the wheelbase is different in longbeds but that can be compensated for. More currious if the body mount points and frame bends align worth a hoot.
There is a thread in this forum with someone putting a slick body on a new EcoBoost frame. As I recall, the measurements were fairly close, but it still looked like a lot of work. You should do a search for it... I think he was calling it the Eco Slick.
I may have a lead on a low priced 89 F250 LD. I dont need another flying box around but thought that it would be a quick road to discs and power steering. Plus it would get me a 5spd OD and a 300 six which is my favorite engine.
I already know the wheelbases are different by a few inches. Anyone know what the frame rail width on a 64 is? Mine is still hiding in a shed behind a few feet of snow.
