Can someone tell me what the vacuum motor under the hood just above the blower motor controls on a '93. The vacuum line to mine is broken, but everything seems to work OK, with the exception of occasional Max A/C problems. Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

It's the fresh/recirculate motor. It operates the blend door that you can see thru the grille in the front of the passenger footwell.
