My top was used so it came with no velco for the tailgate, so i went to the Hardware stoke and bought Industrial Velco. Bu the other day in the heat, the adhesive started to let go:doh0715:

Put some new Mile Marker Stainless hubs in the bronco on Wed. When I had the hubs off I noticed the grease was water logged. So i pulled the hubs and bought some new wheel bearings and seals. But when i pulled the hubs i HAD to use the impact gun to remove the spindle nuts.
Found out when i got them off, why. The passenger spindle would NOT come off the axle shaft. I had to remove the inner shaft along with the spindle. I put the inner axle in the vise hanging down and needed to used a 48oz hammer the beat the spindle off. The inner needle bearing must have seized and then grenaded. the pieces went into the spindle and chewed up the axle stub and ovaled out the spindle.
And wouldnt you know it, I have the ODD DUCK with FRONT ABS. The spindle are different from everything else. Only SOME 95/96 had ABS so it was Impossible to find the right spindle. I had to take a non-ABS spindle and machine it out for the ABS sensor and drill/tap for the attaching bolt.
Put the spare tire carrier back on to give me some interior room back as well
Got it al back together just in time to drive down to the Jersey Shore 4th of july morning. Went out on Island Beach State Park. Never been out on the sand before, it is different than anything I have ever done before. Pretty cool.

Looks great Brad, and it's perfect for the beach. First year for me too, driving on the beach. There's only one trail here in RI, and ya need a $100 permit to drive on it. Nice though, being able to drive down the trail, pick a secluded spot on the beach, and hang out.
