Used 91 4x4 probs.

Did the 91 XLT LAriat 4x4s come with limited slip front and rear? or as an option? Or did the origianl owner add it.
The truck ws overheating earlier today, It was pissing Anti freeze out the overflow, It felt like it had no flow in the radiator hose going into the engine, and I say no flow goinbg through the radiator with the cap off. It looks like a stuck thermostat..is that a correct assumption?
Is there a problem with the front driveshaft being to short when suspension is fully extended?

If the AXLE code on the door sticker starts with "H" (like maybe "H9 as opposed to "19"), then the rear is an OE L/S. To know about the front, you have to look for an "L" in the second position on the second line of the axle tag, if it's still there. (Same for the rear tag.) If the front tag is gone, the only way to know is to open the diff. 
If you suspect the original owner did some mods, then the only way to know for sure is to open both diffs.
