Want convert to top loader 4sp which tail shaft lenth is best 27" or 24" for shifter location. Aldo plan to convert to ranger bucket seats.

They aint very plentiful, which one can you get?

will locate which ever lenth is best for shifter location. Truck has a FE 352

There is a "tower" type shifter that bolts in place of the top cover and gives a truck-friendly shifter location. I believe Jeep used it.
