Hey thanks guys , I picked it up for $1700.00 and he had all the trim and service manuals , Currently looking for a set of stock steel wheels for it , I would like to put 8's or10's on the back but so far seem hard to find used.
He had the brand new tires put on last week and gave the tire guy the steelies .
Thanks Gembone , I already have it stripped and getting it ready for paint , Its so solid it wont take much time at all , should be painted by next weekend if all goes well.
Sorry guys been busy , I painted the roof Ivory satin and will do the body with Eastwoods hotrod satin black , I do have a set of stock steel wheels trying to decide on Gloss black or Ivory or even two-toned , By the way the interior still looks good enough to leave as is and is a beige/light tan real close to the Ivory I used on the roof , Not getting real carried away with it as I would like to enjoy driving it more than worrying about it (Had trailer queens before) , Should I put the bump trim back on or just run the lowers (curious of what you all think) .
looks MUCH better ! I was thinking about doing my 68 hot rod black when i first got it , Wife shot that down . kinda glad she did i am really liking the original paint (don't tell her i said that) lol
trucks looking good.
as far as the trim, if you have it all, I would suggest setting it on the truck and see what you think.
I think the extra trim would help break up the black and add more character to the truck.
That is without seeing it with trim though.
Thanks guys , I do have all the trim but no clips , $50.00 plus shipping from LMC though , Have not really decided on putting it on or selling it to someone that can use it.
