Hey guys, I am trying to find my PCV valve and my chiltons book is not helping me very good. It says its near the #4 intake runner. I am not seeing it anywhere. The engine is a 1990. Any help would be appreciated.
Just found it. If anybody else has problems locating it, look for a rubber hose coming out of the the intake manifold on the passenger side enterneath the #3 and #4 intake runners. Follow that hose towards the rear about 8 inches and you will find it. Many thanks to Gamma Driver. I found mine and it was clogged full of junk and didn't work.
Edit: Oops, posted this while he was looking for it:Edit
You are very welcome sir, but I just looked (after posting) to try to take a digital picture for ya, and I couldn't see the darned thing from either side of the truck! plan to grope and feel, feel and play, get all dirty.
Find a PCV-sized hose, and follow it toward the side of the valve-cover. Pull it out, think about cutting 1/2" off of the hose to get it to fit snugly, change the PCV (using the blocking plastic plug if need be), grope and feel to put it back in.
