So why do it?

I die a little bit inside everytime I see something like this.

Not that I like that truck, but everyone has their own thing. Some guys lift trucks, lower trucks, make them stupid fast, some just restore them to factory everything, and some people only like cars.

If you enjoy modifying something in a certain way, do it.

These guys enjoyed that project just like you enjoy your projects. Hard to fault them for that.

I'm pretty comfortable that you're going to find that not only is dragging the truck down the road dangerous, but also illegal in most states. So no, can't condone that action. Hence the fixing stupid comment.

I just hope they're not like some of the guys in the "bagged" crowd that drag roadways with other vehicles around and use trailer ***** to do it.

Way back in the '50's, some would have something called a "drag plate". I remember seeing them as a kid, and thought, "why"? They'd drag this thing behind their car making sparks like in the video. That is, until the thing fell off. That was stupid.
What's the "bagged crowd"?

The "bagged" crowd are those in the automotive community that install air bags on vehicles so they can lower the ride height so much it makes them undriveable.

The "Bagged" croud are the guys that use air suspensions to drop a truck, versus the old way of using hydraulic suspensions. Bags ride better and they do the same tricks, just slower.

Thanks guys, that's the first I'd heard that term. Guess I need to get out of the woods once in awhile.
