exhaust blow back
I have a 2004 f-250 powerstroke 6.0 and when I tap the pedal and let off it blows back at me..it just started it..it only blows back for a second...any ideas

Search for turbo fart. You'll get a plethora of reading on the subject--LOL.

It aint a turbo fart it does that to when I get on it and let off..when I let off the pedal it sounds like I tapped it again but I don't..its blowing exhaust out in a short burst

Turbo is sticking, do you still use the EGR?

im not gonna say its not but my boost pressure on my guage is normal..i could see it doing that..idk I can take it off and clean my veins..ive don't that probably 20 times when my egr was sticking...anything else you can think off

If you step on it and it farts, blows black, EGR is sticking. If you step on it and feel a lag, blows a little black smoke, then takes off or farts, turbo is sticking.

egr is deleted...it just does it when I push the pedal like a inch and let off...when I step on it and let off the it whinnes..its just when I tap it

make sure your unisom ring actuating arm does not turn more than 45 deg. if it spins or pulls out all the around or pulls out then the pin is sheared, mine sheared but ring was welded to center section not used much before but now gets ased once a week
