What years are compatible for 1994 F-150 tailgates please

welcome to FTE.
87 to 97 with minor differences to trim and lettering. but they all will bolt rite on.

tailgate compatiblity

Thanks for the info. They must very popular, I'm having a hard time finding one locally. My tire size seems to be an issue for finding (as a spare) too. Love my Ford though.

Have you checked local junkyards & u pulls? Was in one of ours last week and they had several used ones, picked one up for $35. Usually a couple on cl as well.

I checked the U-pull place in my city. WOW!!! What an experience. I had never been there before. Found a door handle, mirror and license plate light set that was needed but no tailgate. I have not checked the junk yards yet but there are 4 or five large ones on the same avenue as the U-pull so that will become a whole days project I'm betting. I'd like it better if a facebook friend or some one would just leave one on my porch
