Hi,

Just bought a '91 F150 that doesn't have a tailgate and ant to put one on, hopefully find a used one.

I'm curious what other model years would be compatible with a '91? Also, it looks like I'd need to find a tailgate, handle, and finish trim. Are there any other parts I'd need to find?

Try your local Pick a Part yards, Craigslist, then National Parts Depot, Jeffʻs
Bronco Graveyard - These last companies ARE FTE SPONSORS, we should

As far as trucks to look for 87-96 would be ideal.

There will be other parts sources that people will post, so you will

1987-1996 (97 F250/350) will all bolt right in.


1987-91 Will be the "correct" model tailgate to have, as this gen. has the big FORD letters in the gate witch look great if you ask me!
