help

Ok I just bought a 97 f350 powerstroke and I never have had a diesel before. It seems that I need to replace the complete front end... ball joints tie rods etc. Also there is oil leaking or something in frnt of the tranny out of a little hole. Also there is oil all around the motor, The truck runs perfect witout any issues. what are my best steps to fix? Im pretty mechanically inclined but I never have had a diesel. Please help and give me advice and guidence!!
