Spring Jefferson?

Anyone else planning on going and snowshoe, sunburn, get frostbit and windburned while swimming in a few weeks? We are planning on a Saturday run.

LOL.

Last year was early June. Never too early to start planning. Any thoughts?

The only thing I can think of is outlawing "FAILblazers". I kidd.

If nobody else chimes in we'll have to revive the GTG thread.

FAIL Blazer is still running good. I know its not a Ford but it gets me where I need to be.

I just sent Corey (Ironhand) a PM and he told me to start a thread and see what people say.

I will be going. I am taking off work Friday hoping to get in before it starts raining on Saturday. I am never good @ guessing what the weather will be except 2 weekends a year spring and fall Jefferson swap meet weekend... You know its going to rain most if not all weekend. I am thinking about just wearing hipwaders.

Hahaha... No kidding... About the 3rd time I ever went to it about 20 years ago, My brother woke me up around 5am to head to it. I was half asleep when I got in the truck and realized when we got down there that I didn't bring a jacket. I still have the cheap chinese made jacket I bought from the first vender I found. I think it was like 40ish that day.

The spring of 01 we bought an old snowmobile for my nephew and the guy joked we had missed the riding season. It was so sunny out Sat morning I got sunburned and looked like a lobster at my sons baptism the following day. By mid afternoon it had clouded over and it was flurrying when we loaded up the sled around 4:30. I swear you see each of the seasons a few times a day down there.
