Intake Manifold Loose
I have had a intermittant problem that kept getting worse.
Usually starting at approx 50mph my truck would start to
bog out. I could not go over 50mph
When let off the accellerator it would run fine.
I did not backfire when it was trying to cut out, so i fiquired
it was running lean. I checked many things with no success. I was
about to pull of the carb to do a rebuild. When I just decided to snug
up the exhaust manifold. I put the wrench on the intake manifold
bolts and half of had pretty much back out. I tighten them all up and she
runs 80mph no problem.
85 F150 300 4x4 4 speed
