Car Alarm?
Didnt really know where else to post this so I figured you guys were as good as any hehe. Im looking for a decent car alarm preferbaly with the two way paging deal and im trying to stay under 250 or so. Found a nice looking black widow at etronics.com (http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?...tid=297&store=). Anyone have any opinions/advice? Thanks

Look for the Ultra Start 4250. This is an Alarm with remote Starter. If you go throught the trouble getting an alarm installed you should do the remote starter at the same time. The 4250 is a awsome system, it will start your vehicle from 3000ft. If the alarm is set of the remote transmitter will page the violated zone (Door opened, shock sensor) I have the 4500 series 2way alarm, it is the high end version of the 4250. I can also supply you with any info you need for installation (wiring diagrams, relay diagrams..)

Yeah thanks thats another one i was looking at. Any idea what kind of distance the transmitter has thats the biggest thing i want because i am rarely far away from my truck. Also Found the 4250 for 184.99 is that a decent price? Thanks again.

Thats not a bad price. Just make sure that if you have it installed, to have it done by an experienced installer. If you are going to do it yourself, take some time to study a vehicle wiring sheet. I can pass one on to you if you need it.

Ill probly get it done by someone else Stereos I can handle Alarms are a step im not too sure about yet. Any idea as to how much and install will cost? Btw the alarm is ordered and should be here next mon or tues.

Installation costs will vary for shop to shop. You are best to look around to find a good price. If possible find an Ultrastart dealer in your area. I may be able to find a dealer for if if you need. Most shops will quote the basic installation cost, then add extra labor for keyless entry, starter disable and so on. Let me know if you have any questions, I know the Ultrastart inside and out. Yeah if you could find a dealer/installer around the Tampa Florida are I would greatly appreciate it. I tried finding the ultrastart homepage or a list of authorized dealers but that didnt go anywhere. Really appreciate all the help.
