Stalling at idle

Stalling at idle
I have an f250 with a 351 and i started it up yesterday and it has a choppy idle and it has a lag on acceleration. but when i give it gas and drive it down the road it runs perfectly fine. Any suggestions? It stalls if i let it idle with foot on the skinny peddle but it ran fine two days ago.

Also, when you use the carb cleaner spray, spray some around the base of the carb and intake to head gaskets - with the engine running. If the idle speed changes when the spray hits the gasket, you have a vacuum leak (bad gasket). You may need to get a helper or wedge something between the throttle linkage carb stop to keep it running (you want as a low as a steady idle speed as you can get before using the spray to detect small leaks).

just went out to autozone and bought myself a can of sea foam, i put it in the truck and followed the instructions and has done the trick! The engine holds its idle at 1000rpm and it also feels a lot smoother on acceleration. Thank you for all of the help and the quick responses.
