Clean engine but sick
Hello Vtenners! My first post here - glad I found it. I have a '99 SD F350 Dually 4x4 with 73800 miles. Last night after i got off work (i drive a little Nissan to work) I decided to wash the motor a little and get ready to change the spark plugs. I didn't power-wash it, just sprayed off the dust, etc, then wiped it down best I could. Decided to drive it to work this morning instead of the car, got in and cranked it up. It began to miss a little but I thought nothing of it 'cause it usually does that first thing here lately - that's why I'm changing plugs. But anyway, got out on the road and it began to misfire like crazy. Could the water have gotten somewhere i couldn't see? If so what to do? By the way, I always wash my motor when it gets bad dusty - never happened before.
