4spd Big Bronco?
Did they ever make a 78-79 Bronco with the 4speed (NV 435 I think) or are they all auto's? I had a 79 f150 and loved the truck and I'd like another with shorter wheelbase. I thought a Bronco would be the hot ticket but I'm not too fond of the c4 or c6. I guess I could live with one if I had to.
Also do they come with the 31 spline 9" like the f150 or the 28 spline?

Well, I want to swap my e40d for the C6, not necessarily looking forward to losing overdrive, but I am looking for the toughest and best offroad tranny I can get, plus I have a slot shifter for the C6 tranny

Check ebay I have seen a few on there. They are rare though, I remember that my dad only found four in the State of WV when he was looking to buy his is 1979. Funny thing was two were at one dealer.
