hi everyone
i just bought a 01 f350 crew cab srw long bed
i got it from huston,tx and shipped to lockport,il
about 30mile south of chicago
i would like to have it ziebarted or the others
their is fluid flim and waxoyl out their
anyone have any luck with any of the three
a buddy said to put trans fluid and engine oil in
a spray bottle and spray it down like a hose would
truck has no rust and i havent had it out in the salt or snow
any thoughts thanks

Depends a bit on budget and what kind of shop you have access to.
I had Ziebart do my 97 because they were convenient and the mess was in their shop not mine. I think it cost about $200 for the underside.
Not much magic to undercoatings. Let budget and convenience drive the decision.
We apply Fluid Film to everything here. Can be done with rattle cans but most folks who buy Fluid Film from me buy a gallon and shoot it with an undercoating gun, but you can also use an airless gun (Wagner). Best done on a lift with plastic on the flor, but can be done with jack stands. Gallon of Fluid Film costs about $40 and an undercoating gun is about that or a bit less.
As for the waste oil, some use it. In many places it isn't legal to use it for this purpose.

I have a lift at my shop so I can do it their
the budget thing is not a big deal just want the truck
to last a very long time
my buddy put fluid film on his wifes car but it looks like
every thing sticks on to it salt,dust I guess better than the panels and
brake lines and fuel lines
