223 i6 info?
Hey Guys, anyone know how long Ford made the 223? Are they all essentially the same? I have one in my 1961 Uni and was wondering what my options were for parts interchangeability. I was thinking of trying to find a 292 y block but am not sure about the hassle of switching.

Well, I just found a 223 out of a '62 on Craigslist newly rebuilt and in great shape! So I guess Ill be keeping the 223...

I think they were made from '54 thru '64 with a few minor changes. Pretty good engine for their age.
