what computer do i need?
i have an 88 f150 custom with a 87 5.8 351 motor and a 89 tranny what type of computer should i get? not sure what i pulled out of it i know it had an engine swap i think there was a 302 in it before im not sure if the guy before me used the same one from the 302 before or if the one i got is for a 351 either way the one i got i am pretty sure is fried and need to know what i should put in it thanks.

If the motor is stock and speed density then get a 351 computer from an 88-89 auto truck.
Just make sure the computer is for the same trans you have. You could have a c6 or e4od in the donor truck.
Get a 351 computer (a 302 one would work though) with same trans as yours. Should work just fine.
