Rock jumping
Usually I post in the diesel arena, but I also have a '92 F-150XL. Most comfortable, stable-driving vehicle I own. However, as I live on a rather steep hill, I fooled myself early in the winter and slid off the road into a pile of large rocks. I bent the RH radius arm back and popped a chunk of alloy out of my LH front rim. Also cracked off a u-joint cap on the front driveline as the radius arm bent. Also, the steering is now uncooperative - I can hardly turn right or left, and it's easier to turn one way than the other direction. Towed it home with the van, arguing on the corners.
I now have a new radius arm sitting in my shop. The snow is about to be gone, so it's time to solve the problem. I'm pretty sure I can work my way through it, though usually if it doesn't have a propeller on the front I'm a babe in the woods. Anyone have experience with this type of fix and recommendations? Thanks for the help.
