Well I sold the Escape last week. So I'm back to 'strokin it to work every day. I have to say that little SUV was a very good car. Still ran like a swiss watch at 133k miles.
Speaking of idiots. Some dude got in the bag, hit and ran in South Pasadena, headed north and hit and ran MY KIDS!!!!!!!
Kids are ok thank God. Now they know why I tell them to watch it every time they drive off.....
Hit the '98 Exploder in the RF wheel, busted the ball joint, tie rod, not sure what else. Did a number on the fender and a bit on the door. Door still opens, no lights broken.
Will have to see what the insurance man says.....I'd be happy if they totalled it. But, if they fix it, it needed ball joints anyway.
The dude? He's in jail. Quick work by the PD. Of course, driving your heavily damaged Honda around as it sheds parts does raise a flag or two....
