Drive & Driven gears for speedometer
Anyone have experience swapping out drive/driven gears on an '84 f-150 with c6 transmission. I recently had to swap out my stock 3.55 rear axl with a craigslist found 3.08 rear. The previous owner put oversize tires on the truck so the speedo was off before the swap and now it's about 10 mph off. I would like to right this so I don't have to keep guessing or using my GPS to tell what my speed is.

Drive gears are cut into the output shaft and the only way is to change shafts.
Driven gears are available.
But there is one model of C6 that has a removeable gear. It has a very short extension and bolt on flange.
