I have slept outside in a canvas tent with just 2 wool blankets when it was a 21 degree low. Was quite comfy in the canvas tent I was using that weekend. Was also sleeping on the ground.

 

nahh was to lazy... didnt want to have another thing to pack up when we went to leave...

 

ive always heard canvas tents are warm to begin with...

 

I'll be staying in the hotel.

 

Depends on the tent Shawn. They also have to be set up properly. The ones we use for reenacting require at least a half bale of straw in them around the edge of the tent to seal the tent to the ground and allow proper ventilation while maintaining the heat in the tent.Our tents also do not have floors so a mattress tick is required as well.

I do take a thin blanket camping with me in the summer so I dont have to rely solely on my summer sleeping bag.
