I saw a really cool dress up idea for under thwe hood other day and easy to. All you do is get some light gauge sheet metal formed the right size to cover even with the inside of your motor obviously dont cover the whole thing and get it painted same color as truck or motor ect. I thought it looked sweet and easy to keep clean lol. Anyone else have any ideas forlike show dress ups

it might be it depends on if you use it for a work truck or a show truck. It doesnt cover the whole motor jsut like the firewalls and stuff

My buddy and I are going to get some polished aluminum strips to cover the heads of the bolts that hold his fenders on. That way when you open the hood, you don't see the bolts, just a nice polished aluminum strip.

With his color combo's and chrome content...it's going to look sweet

So it doesn't cover the engine - just the area AROUND the engine?

Pretty much an import car. Most the time an import car with any modification.

By the time I got to the end of this thread, I was ROTFLMAO.
Seems the newest "Show" craz, is "Billet Aluminum" panels covering anything and in some cases everything in the engine compartment. It different alright, but you might as well be looking in the trunk. Me! I want to see "Engine", not sheets of polished recycled soda cans. The trend these days is to sweep it under the carpet, or cover it up so no one can see how funky it really is under that shinny thingamabob.
